Those of us who enjoy playing the game for the tough wars and a good battle royal need to have that ability... utopia is 1 of a KIND... can't be left to die..

Sean & Brian.. I say.. u guys have a break.. enable someone u trust to handle simple stuff.... u guys have taken heaps of punishment.. if u disable the game.. for say a year or two.. then bring it back.. u may weed out all the cheaters... i dunno..

but..... I am a true player....... I wanna keep playing and I know heaps that do.... honestly I find it sickening and revolting how peeps wanna destroy something awesome for soo many.. who play an honest game.

Coruscale... we censor what's posted on these forums, but as far as I'm concerned what people want to discuss outside of this venue is their own business. I didn't think it was right to delete a thread that basically says 'go here to discuss the future of Utopia without being censored', when I'm obviously censoring anything posted here. And if I had, there would have been a jihad of epic proportions on the boards PLUS people would have gotten the word out in other ways anyway.

Discussing to drive the community away from Jolt is an issue to me, it's a self-serving prophecy. And these discussions are limited to a select group no less. And I doubt it has any concern for the original values of the game, considering those who heading it are those who have been the driving points in deviation. All I see is epic failure here, regardless if I care for those people a lot. I don't see them in positions to really lead us in the right direction on that scale. If anything, they're just destroying things.

But whatever. I don't intend to stay here anyway.

That's a very important point and it needs to be stressed.

If I get an inkling that there's a movement to steal players away from this game while it is still in existence, I will squash every single reference to it like a bug. I will put on my heavy steel-toed boots and start kicking butts and taking names. I hope I'm making myself clear. Discussing the future of a game whose current future is uncertain is one thing. Deliberately taking action to cause its demise, or to steal the community away, is quite another.

which unfortunately does seem to be in the very near future... i myself am considering full retirement very soon despite my attempts to stay until the last nail is driven. but i can't handle the time and stress involved any more...

so it's not catwalk and the others driving me away from the game with their talk of a new venture, it's utopia itself, the devs and owners that are driving me (and MANY others away in droves)

Isn't Catwalk the one who brought in legalized cheating? Worked well for the top 50 but kinda ruined it for the rest of the server. There is a very distinct line between SK and not now as a result.

In fact many who were ghettos before, because they had activity but not the possibility to trade properly are in top. Take a look at the revival of Hall and KLA. Even a TF kingdom was up there! For many kingdoms worked out pretty well. And what you expected? In 2 ages all ghettos learn how to be in top? In fact I admire those who did, because in top 50, there were 50 places, all occupied and now it's same 50 places, not more, but occupied by many "new" and different kingdoms.

They don't use legalized cheating, since it doesn't give them full control over the provinces, and those lower down either don't have quality people to move in, or run out of moves before the age has even started.
