I used to use dragonportal, and then set up my own excel macro for calculating exact defense from 2 SoM's. When the server had way too many issues 2 ages ago I left the game. Now that I'm back, a couple of things have changed, and the method that was being used to randomize the values given from SoM's has changed. Does anyone have an attack calculator that still works? Or does anyone know what was changed in the game code and why?
Angel. som+som doesnt work anymore and isnt needed. Soms are exact defense now. only the numbers at home are screwed up. so deduct what the som shows out from the cb and its exact.
and no they dont know what they changed or how they did it.Its like the majority of their changes .

just remember troops away are 100% accurate, and troops home are not... so just do the math from the CB

I think I prefered the SOM+SOM exploit. It was slightly more challenging to code a solution for...
it was slightly more of an exploit that required you to know about it. not particularly balanced or fair.

Nevermind patching exploits. Instead, lets make sure that they are accessible and blatant for everyone to notice :).
Kinda defeats the spirit of putting a random factor in the SOM to begin with.
Might as well make it a "SOM+CB automatically gives perfect intel" system and make it official.
