I have just deployed some new changes to the server.

The most important of these is that the way sitting works has changed slightly. This change should hopefully counteract the exploit some people are using to slip into VM mode from sitting mode after an attack, gaining immunity from reprisal. If a sitter cancels sitting mode before the minimum 3 days are up, the province will no longer revert into VM mode. Instead, it will become "unattended", with neither the owner nor the sitter being able to access it until the minimum period is up. While it is unattended it is vunerable to attack. So, the bottom line is: if you're sitting a province, don't cancel sitting before the minimum 3 days unless you don't care about the province at all.

Some other changes were also deployed:

1. I fixed an issue with reservations that was causing some problems. Reservations for the next age were not cleaned up properly if a person with an invite moved kingdom or died. This would leave a defunct reservation in place, taking up valuable space in the kingdom and potentially preventing a new player from staying with his/her kingdom. If you just saw a reservation disappear from your kingdom this is probably what happened.

2. the messaging when an invite isn't found on the system has been improved to explain that you need to pick up invites with the right account, that monarchs have the power to revoke invites, and that you need to be careful if you're copy and pasting the link in from an email client.

3. Added long-overdue introduction text to the front page of the site.

Thanks,
Sean
