As far as I can tell, Dec is when the login for GUW is no longer offered. But you can still get to the Turny info by checking the different server types. It has a link to turny stuff. I didnt spend alot of time looking either

the login to the war page was removed from the main page

on the 10/10/2006 its there and on the 18/10/2006 its not!!!
and it seems the game was still on... weird
because i have the "War Results" page from 03/11/2006
and there are 4 top kds with 12 war wins

I have fond memories of it but can't answer your question. My prov was called 'Necromancy' Undead/Mystic and that was the last time I played that combo. It was 'Great', literally, they should do it again.

After five long months and 16 wars, the last battle on the Great Utopian War server ended today with SexreXerxes deleting his province after losing 9k acres in razes and landlusts. In this unusual war, SexreXerxes was the solo province in his kd with 27k acres and 5.2mil networth versus the kingdom of Great Warriors at 11mil. At the time of deletion, the meter was at 75.5% in Great Warrior's favor, thus crowning them the winners of the GUW server with 12 wins, 1 loss, and 2 draws.
Congratulations to both kds!

I would love to see the tournament coming back again :D
Lost interest in that server after losing to a kd despite 50% meter that was 50% Brute Force, 50% Sanctuary and a Champion_Havoc to make me look nub.
Not to mention we shoulda won but the war was stopped in the middle of an hour with 4 of the provs getting their troops back.
The full Heretics kd also showed why these tournaments are just meh.
