inactive with lots of gold

so we've got an inactive in our kingdom who has an absolute mountain of gold (double digits of millions) but he has very high TPA is it worth trying to bribe his thieves?

No, that just lowers his stealth, it will not help you get his gold in anyway... you could defect, then massacre him to lower his tpa then get invited back in... that would not be worth it in 99.999999% of scenarios. :)

use propaganda to remove his tpa.

You could also starve him out.

that would probably be a lot easier - about 5% of troops desert on max starvation.

Take note that the will be automatically removed from the game after 10 days of inactivity, so any really slow like 5 day plan might not pay off....

Also remember that NW different will effect your gains when you do steal from him

Starvation is the most effective way to do it, but goodz is right in that it will drop his NW and reduce thievery gains (depending on his size atm). With all the hassle attached you could probably find a farm outside your kingdom faster :P

i am quite dissapointed that they removed torch farms!

It's also silly we have an op to decimate such a hard unit to produce like a wizard, but nothing to take out thieves except the above mentioned methods.

If they cannot rob him, they cant do other thief ops either.

You could find an enemy with crappy tpa and get him to plunder the inactive, then rob that enemy. I'll volunteer myself or one of my kd mates to be that enemy, send me pm for the inactive's location.

its easy to boost a rogues tpa so he can prop though

you can only raze and trad march inter kingdom so massacre isn't an option.

cant massacre intra-kd - you'd need someone outside to help.
