Age 50 suggestions

Hi everyone.

As Age 49 draws to a close we are going to start taking suggestions for Age 50. This time though we are going to forgo the usual megathread and ask people to create individual threads in the Suggestions forum (suggestions in this thread here will not be viewed!). So that this method can work we ask that you stick to a few guidelines:

• Do not create a new thread if one already exists on your topic - do a search first. Duplicate threads will be locked/merged.
• Please provide your reasoning behind your suggestions. For example, a thread saying "bring back RACE" will not garner as much attention as a thread that details the proposed bonuses and how they fit into the game.
• Please don't bump threads, post off-topic in them or derail them.

These guidelines should help the ideas to get across easier.

For Age 50 the Developers want you guys to tell them what did you like about age 49, what didn't work as well perhaps as you'd have liked - its pretty much a blank canvas at this stage.

I personally would like to see this new age remain as it was in the previous one. No tinkering with anything would be a nice change. Why fix what ain't broke; I realize I am just voicing my selfish needs but I liked the way Age 49 went. Anyway, that is just my opinion. :)

Changes are necessary to keep the game flowing forward. Ages without decent changes tend to be the lamest. Thanks for the info Bish.

Bring back CB & remove SoT
Add a spell like Inspect Military which has the effect of SoM & remove SoM

Delete halfling race - if the aboe changes are made they have no real purpose

If you liked last age that's cool - maybe make a post in the suggestions forum and explain what it was that you liked. A suggestion to retain a fun feature/race is equally valid as one to introduce something new.

I was referring to batcave's post Nem. As for what constitutes a decent change, well that tends to be debatable until the dust settles from an age, which is why it's a good idea they are asking for reflection on this age when considering changes for the new one.

i strongly suggest to bring back raze in war, my reasoning it gets to the point you can't kill off chain provinces instead they can released all defense and quad someone else and just goes back and forth.

purchasable science the current process makes it a longer process better yet buildings generate books. Anything that will shorten pumping time.

They should change to lose barren land first instead of buildings cuz it makes more sense

Im going to just state outright that suggestions like these will be ignored, just to save everyones time. Provide reasoning!

Also, suggestions in this thread wont be seen by Devs, so you are wasting your time - to the suggestions forum with you!
