I'm talking beta, ages 1-10ish players. Those were the days, eh? Still a fun game but it's lacking now...probably due to the size of the community. That was probably the best aspect of the game back then.

I played from Ages 3-18 or so, and now I'm back. When we had 60-70k players, the game was just great. Awesome atmosphere, met so many cool people. The old forums used to be absolutely buzzing twenty four hours a day. Those were the days, weren't they? I wasn't anyone famous in the Utopia world, but I was in a KD for about 5 ages or so with the memorable oddfaery back in the day =P Can't seem to get in touch with him these days, I've lost his contact info. Anyone have any info?
Game's actually funner with less people, it just makes it more competitive and die hard.

You also had a few Genesis only players. I remember at a certain point I was tired of playing WoL so I played few ages Genesis only. And yes most players are oldskool anyway, I started around the first ages also and enjoyed it ever since.
I don't mind that we have less players in the community now, like KuHaN said, less players also makes the game more interesting.
I'm in a heavy warring KD and we finished 7/8 on wars this age and are looking for a 8/9 but prolly age ends before we can recover for one last war.
I never had some of these intense wars before. Most remaining players are really dedicated and know how to play so wars become much more interesting then back in the old days. But that's just my opinion.
