    so there WAS a maintenance

    For those that missed it, it was like 30 seconds long and happened 45 mins after protection ended. it was ninja fixing.

    Monday July 25, 2011
    Fixing the thief losses display bug.

    Maintenance started at 19:45 GMT, and is expected to take 3 minutes.

    it was a 30 second maintenance message. hard to catch it unless you were trolling around the islands. i had a side bet with someone else if the server would need maintenance the tick oop. im sure im not the only one so i figured id share it.

    the bug was that it didnt display your losses right, not that it cost you thieves ;)

    Liar.

    It was a bug that was costing us thieves. It didn't display them either, but I was losing a thief on a fail sending TWO GD THIEVES! I lost a total of 9-10 thieves just grabbing SoTs on the first three kingdoms on my island. Doesn't seem like a lot, but your DISPLAY bug cost me about 5k gcs and the time it took to train them.

    I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you were told incorrectly. However, there are many that can confirm they actually lost thieves due to this "rounding error". There was a discussion about it in the #strategy channel on IRC as well. I know at least five people in my kingdom reported the losses as well.

    - Get the best out of your gameplay, go 45% homes minimum .
    -Successfully tested over 13 war wins in a row and many that number of non war conflicts .
    7 out f 7 war wins age 50 guarantees.
    High homes = good
