I don't see how we failed.
We only lost 2 wars outside of the Abs/Cov Awar that I can remember. One to EQ and one to RoCry. We repeatedly spoiled ages for all sorts of ghettos, caused several kingdoms to disband, and not once did we not have fun playing the game.
