    Why is pop sci so powerful and yet homes are said to be so weak idk im new this age so bear with me

    pop science essentially gives you FREE population. homes "cost" you valuable land that could be better used otherwise.

    whatevar... homes are used for birth rates mainlly. Take your example few hours/days further and you will see why homes for attackers are good. And also make a nice math of non-chained province...

    If you will get down chained, not even mass GS will help you.. will slow down the process but wont stop it. Thats where you guys with "massive math" do wrong most of the time. Take the game as it is and play it simple... Its all about activitty and few tricks you have to do according to each situation(not high math). Your complicated math is just making your game-play so damn hard and when u get hit 20x your math will become an oral exam of swearing mods/game creators.

    It's true though, at some point the effect of homes on chaining becomes less relevant than the fact that you're getting a zillion hits, and nothing can stop that.
    I personally find homes not useful, but the birthrates bonus is the best feature of using homes - everything else can be replicated by other buildings or science.
