Is there a auto-surrender in this case??

    Hi everyone

Our kingdom have found us self in a weird situation.

We entered war with a kingdom just 200K higher KD nw, than us, right OOP.. We had 48hours of battle-ing until we got the upper hand and started to control the battlefield.. They now had the button to surrender, but instead their king destroys his province and leaves his kingdom without a king. Now they tries to elect a new king, in order to surrender and anarchi has broken loose in their kingdom.. One province, according to msg back and forth, responded that he is not able to get the last vote to become king..Now too many of their provinces have gone inactive and we dropped their KD nw and acres, to less than half out size.

By now, we realized that we might end up having top surrender to them, because they only got 2-3 active provinces left.. 5 defected, including their king.. All the rest have become inactives and new provinces have come to their king, which are now in protection.

How to we get them to surrender?? We surely won this war, but they have no king, lots of inactives.. is their an auto-surrender hidden somewhere, if we kill of their provinces?

    Thank you for your advise..

    There is no auto-surrender.

War wins don't matter anyways. So go ahead and withdraw to continue your age.

Or, if their "king" that is trying to get elected is willing, you can start pounding only those provs that haven't voted for him till they defect. Once they do, he gets king cause the votes required went down. Long and mostly pointless, but that's how you get a win out of it if you want.

And please don't bother suggesting an auto win. Mehul specifically, explicitly, rejected it, and his reasons for doing so have mostly been born out. I've had use of the threat of a "spite war" where we would refuse to surrender before, though we've never had to carry though yet - one of the few trump cards badly outgunned kingdoms have.
it's vs. its is ambiguous - from now on I'm attempting to use the proper possessive it's, and the contraction 'tis. (Its will just be the plural.)

I like the recommendation of killing off the non-voting provs. That could be an option. Thanks Ethan. We'll discuss that.

inactive provs will lose their vote and not be calced in the votes required to elect a monarch.
