UF NEWS: Mehul has agreed to be interviewed.

Hey guys and gals,

I have managed to get in touch with mehul and he has agreed to be interviewed, which is fantastic news. Genuinely, I felt a tad bleak about him actually replying to my email because I thought he may have been done and dusted with Utopia.

However, clearly he isnt and it is good to have an interview with him. He has agreed to let me send him questions and he will send them back to me. ON THAT NOTE: I need suggestions for what people would like to know.... I will take some of the questions suggested, which I feel are interesting and will give him scope for a diverse response.

They play it because they have hope. Faith and fading hope that one day it will flower. That the king will come and this game will be as it once was before it fell into decay. The old wisdom that was borne out of the West was forsaken. Devs made changes more splendid than the needs of the players and counted their profits dearer than the needs of its people. Humourless mods sat in aged halls musing over their powers or in high, cold towers asking questions of our sanity. And so the people of Utopia fell into ruin. The line of Leaders failed, the Playerbase withered, and the rule of Utopia was given over to lesser men.

I emailed him on the off chance and he got back to me. May as well make it as interesting as possible guys.

-The return of the old races (since Mehul was the one that nixed them).
-The Utopia Kingdoms scandal
-Earth Empires
-The current state of the game/further advice for the community/devs

Does he still get Utopians/Earthlings to stop into Dominican Joes?

Did he miss us? Is he happy we got a hold of him? Are we like an ex-girlfriend/boyfriend that he just feels awkward around now? lol

at his last few interviews, he did mentioned that he had in fact lost drives and motivations for Earth & Utopia, both as a player and especially so as a developer (thus the calling of the buyout was timely). Anyways, maybe you can ask him about his business ventures. Just cafes? or maybe he is into something else. Especially with the techcrunch fueling the innovative front of the future as we speak.

Ask him about his thoughts on Earth Empires and his feelings towards how the games (Earth and Utopia) were handled after he relinquished control of them to OMAC.
