if the changes stick then i have decided to give undead sage a go next age. it will be interesting to see an undead province or two who have some strong science going at eoa. if i didnt want to play undead again i might try for dwarf sage. i think it will be a powerful combo also

100% *80%*130%=104% Maybe but right now I would suggest war hero for warring kds as a way to ignore dragons. Elves can get about 90 acres per day dicing in a 25 province kd. There is your growth kd.

Bad idea. As a rule of thumb never pick a personality to compensate for racial weakness if result is multiplicative. It only makes sense if personality completely overrides racial weaknes, ie. ud rogues few ages ago.

i think it allows the undead to be a more versatile choice as a hybrid instead of a pure attacker like they traditionally have been

if you want to hybrid you want mystic. Theres no real alternative. +1 mana and +50% spell duration vastly reduces the opportunity cost of lost attacking power.

An undead mystic can can cast ~8-14 hours of chast per tick, an undead/sage can only provide 4-6. You want to run fireballs then you get 33% more fb's per tick with mystic as well as more land space for attacking buildings due to double rune production.
