Thanks for all the useful information.

    I learned that:
    * Pking is so hard that it is mostly not useful (I already suspected this but the info here confirmed it)
    * Never to go by the name "gogete" (unless you want to be Pk)

I think that my KD might have PK'd someone in our last war... Wasn't even a deep chain though :\

I have seen people just rage delete after getting four or five hits in quick succession. Could have just been that if it wasn't a hard chain.

His province was replaced with another one before I logged in after the start of the chain though, so I don't think that that was what happened.

Weird. Wonder if he was doing some insane stuff like running a 90% draft.

We only knocked him down to ~50% his original size:-337 acres: D&C (5/7) Guess that he must have had a high draft. Only took 7 hits though.

We peasant killed a province. He lost 80% of his land an had a high draft rate.
    Had to revisit the news.
His army was sitting at home right after getting chained. He didnt log in to send them back out. 2 attacks into him right before tick an he died when the hour changed.

Everything in your province is peasant based

Definitely goes to show that getting PKed due to a missed login is very possible, I'd even say likely. If you know you're the chain target, either make sure to be active, or have the decency to just delete yourself so your KD can get someone who can handle such things. On the other hand, PKing a hyperactive in war is nearly impossible, unless they were doing some goofy stuff like what Ord and I were talking about.

    the way i view it:

if you happen to PK him... he sucked, and therefor wasnt worth PK'ing in the first place.

Dont waste time trying to PK someone, you can effectively disbable them from the war enough that they are a non-factor anyways.

If they refuse to release offense and are sitting on only land defense, then maybe go for it? sure have everyone raze them and small guys quad TM them, IF hes offline perhaps you can count on 1 tick of over-pop plus some kidnappings to PK him.

if you can PK someone, do it.......making someone start again mid war is a big plus whether there a good or bad player, 3days of protection when they restart. they are finnished for the rest of the war.....also i think if you are PKed you cant start again for 24hrs right:? if so thats 4days your opposing KD is down a province

we've PK'd 2 provinces in our current war so far. It is definitely doable. We just sent spare off on them, and as they were army locked, well.... poof. And btw, they started right away the next time they logged in, which is definitely less than 24h from which they were PK'd.

Good to know. I was fairly sure that a PK resulted in an instant 'do-over', but thanks for confirming it.
