What's the best race/personality combo to make the most out of a 40% homes "strategy", if you were FORCED to use one at gunpoint.

And of course this hypothetical occurs in a ghetto kingdom.

I've continued to state homes aren't *that* bad compared to TGs - so 40% clearly overdoes it, but is salvageable, especially in a getto proper where they can't even chain the easy targets. Simplest way to use it? Everything else in BE buildings, and as much in DBE buildings as possible.

Best race for it is probably orc/undead, since they need less econ. (Faery, but that's either T/M, or weird on top of weird) Personality probably a heavy attacker choice. (Not cleric with UD, cause hospitals are easy with good BE) A 2.5 or 3x orc via tact is kinda terrifying.

Other option is human (halfer synergizes poorly) rogue A/T with max dens. But you'll have a scrunched space problem meaning attack power will be a bit light due to lack of enough TGs

I used 40% homes with many races and personalities, if tm i recommend fairy rogue, or halfling rogue, avian cleric, dwarf cleric or sage . undead warrior . In the ghetto you will usually have better economy than the enemy opa dpa tpa and wpa properly using 40% homes.

Id say that you should use dwarf if you are new, since the buildings are for free.

Many people will tell you high homes are bad, because they are closed minded, me and manyo ther have tried them and found them pretty good in the ghetto.

Haters gonna hate, you know this people that have been playing the game for too many years are stucked in a single way of playing the game unable of seeing new solutions to problems, fuk old players, play the game your own way.

if you got to run 40% homes I'd pick a race/pers that can boost that extra pop to the max. Or I picked a race/pers that could use the extra pop to compensate for their own crappy poplimits.

Thanks for the replies, thank god I'm not being forced to use 40% homes. One guy in my kd did actually suggest it to me though, so way to go gojete for somehow changing the thought patterns of players through the server with your crazy posts.

I could somehow justify 28% homes as a dwarf, exploring hard enough to make full use of +100% birthrate. When the pool is empty you can still raze them and build someting more useful for free. ^.^

Otherwise I guess you'll need at least improved invisibility spell and immunity to fireballs to go any higher.
