In that period of time which all kingdoms go through, they try and decide who they want to wave and hopefully get a war from. Divinity HaJ had been looking around the server and opted for the slightly larger kingdom of The Unknown. Sending the first wave of hits for acres, The Unknown did not waste any time hanging about and pushed the button.
July 1 of YR7 The Unknown has declared WAR with our kingdom!
Due to the initial size in networth that The Unknown held over Divinity HaJ, it dictated the plan that Divinity were going to use. They employed the use of semi chains and deep gains in order to control networth and not allowing the Unknown to increase their networth advantage. It meant therefor that Divinity focused on the largest provinces, bringing them down so that they could control the top end of the kingdom networths.
The Unknown opted to focus on the orcs, then the humans of Divinity with the ultimate aim of preventing the large attackers from building more military through the use of mage and theivery ops while allowing them to get fat. The hope being that they could peg them back and take over the acre lead in the war when they felt the larger provinces were ripe and ready to be ripped down. The monarch of The Unknown did say that their overall activity was down, he was also critical with the lack of completion in terms of the chains on the orcs and t/m coordination was poor making it ineffective. That translated itself into the orcs, who were very offence heavy to keep hitting for increasing gains as Divinity were much more effective with their chains and it gave their orcs plenty to feed on.
As the war developed it also became very clear that Divinity had more attacking numbers with 22-23 hitting regularly against the 17 that were hitting from The Unknown. The Unknown are building up a kingdom and admitted themselves that for this war they were simply too t/m heavy and lacked the overall attacking numbers. With the unique count down, poor coordination and the monarch busy with work, they decided to cut their losses and they withdrew from the war.

Any time you try and break into the upper echelon you are faced with the best, most experienced kingdoms and veterans. Divinity is definitely among those ranks. Those guys deserved to win, and will be a formidable kingdom for anybody that wants to challenge them. I promised them as well as the others that have fought us already this age that you will see us again in the future, be it this age or the next.
