Funshow launched a ruby dragon and started to wave Melee Weapons(MW) from Aggressive Stance. They had just left a fake war and were quite pumped (especially in wpa) and stocked with 65m gc. Melee Weapons, was in Fortified stance and their undeads were randoming for elites while the Halflings were pumping science or slacking in general. After some discussion, Melee Weapons, decided to drag out a retal war with Funshow to give their provs time to convert to war build and to dwindle down Funshows resources. They switched to Normal Stance and began to retal, mostly land grabs for max gains, but a few plunders as well. During the hostile, the halfers of Melee Weapons, robbed enough gc to launch their own ruby dragon and had an emerald ready to go next. Funshow had quite a few provs with low to no food so the faeries of MW, were doing droughts and burning farms, as well as clearing fog for their attackers throughout hostile and also the war when it came to it.
After 24 hours of the retal war, MW were making more hits, but due to the Aggressive vs Normal stance that Funshow had started in, MW had massive control of the War Button. MW switched to Aggressive stance at that time to improve their attack speeds. By the third day, they had reduced the kd nw differences from 2.6million to 900k, and Funshow's gc reserves was 50m lower too. That's when MW decided to declare.
March 20 of YR10 We have declared WAR on Funshow Hostile!
At war start, Funshow had a huge size gap in their kingdom. 5 provs over 5k acres then the next biggest was 3600. All of their biggies were home at the time of declaration, so MWs initial chains were on those mid-sized targets in the 3k range beginning with Heaven and Hell followed by Birthday Party, and were nightstriking one of the biggies, I only wear knickers. MW also put a couple of hits on Always Cute who was around 8k acres and MW wanted to keep her growth in check.
When the second wave began, I only wear knickers was still holding her troops, but was nightstriked enough to still be chainable so MW began on her, but she deleted her province after 4 hits. Always Cute kept enough elites home to be unbreakable on her second set of attacks so after knickers, MW placed a few hits on another biggie, One or none along with chaining another mid-sized province, I like meat. Meat fell quickly, so during the the end of the 2nd wave/start of 3rd MW started on a couple more targets, Coors Light Mansion and CEOs and Corporate Hos. Their final chain target was Girls gone wild.
MW wrapped up the war with everyone going for max gains hits in the final 12 hours of min time. When min time was up, Funshow did surprise MW by making 8 additional hits, however MW had some additional troops arrive and that allowed them to make another 6 hits which was almost a wash in acre exchange.
