    Orc personality?

What is the best personality for an Orc? I was thinking cleric, but then warrior also sounds good. Someone in my kingdom also prefers tactician for his orc... What are the pro's and con's of each and is there one that would be better for certain situations rather than another?

Warrior has ambush protection, slightly higher enemy losses, slightly lower personal losses (but still need hospitals), and higher OME.
Tactician gets more elite credits, faster attack times, and lower training times.
Cleric gets -50% losses, all combat losses returned as soldiers, and an extra general for either an extra army or a bonus of 3%OME any time.
Personally, I prefer Cleric for reduced losses that I can train as elites as soon as they return and the extra general for an extra army.
Warrior is good for the reduced losses (fewer hospitals needed) and increased military might in war.
Tacticisn is good for faster attack times ( or just fewer rax) and extra elite credits, but I think that cleric beats them with the reduced losses.

we didnt have orcs in our kd, but this age we warred 4 kd's full of orcs. I think it was hardest to fight against orc warrior (it could be that this particular kd was better though). Second was cleric indeed (it was a tad easier to overpop clerics).
We also fought orc/sages, which were harder to opp, but their armies were dropping MO like crazy.

Orc Merchant for top kingdoms, Orc Cleric for mid-level warring kingdoms, and Orc Sage for low warring kingdoms, spending most of the age out of war.

Warrior is pretty impressive for those mid-level KDs man:

*You have Some losses reduction (run some hospitals to complement that)
*you INFLICT +15% losses. This perk is one of the most undervalued in a war. Coupled with pitfalls/Bloodlust that you will of course be using on all attacks, you are going to be SLAYING.
*The +10% OME > the extra general of cleric
*The ambush reduction is the perfect, PERFECT complement for the Orc personality. With orc/cleric, you are going to have to do ANON on just about 100% of your attacks in war. Adding the extra time is a huge buzzkill for me personally, and you dont get honor.

    Food for thought right there.

you will get ambushed on 100% of attacks if you dont use anon.

you can argue otherwise, but thats just because some KDs arent as good as others. A good KD will ambush 100% of orcs hits that arent anon

    >income. In the end it all comes down to economy and income, and merchant is superior by far in that aspect.

Yet when mercs get chained down dont they get more useless as the income drops due to loss of pezzies? On the other hand, cleric and warrior bonuses are still active and increase survivability of the province so in what way is orc merc superior?

Atdy587 - Merchant is superior for pumping. think about why thats better for a top 10 KD, and you have your answer in regards to why merchant > warrior, cleric for top tier kds

There are three personalities that give optimal bonuses for a Heavy Attacker in War: Cleric, Warrior and Tactician.

Cleric is good for resilience: makes your heavy attacker useful in a longer War. But less useful for a short War.

    Warrior is in between, obviously.

Tactician, assuming activity, is viable and makes your heavy attacker more damaging in a shorter War. But less likely to be useful in the long term.

Ask yourself this: is your KD set-up and general War plan more oriented towards Inflicting Heavy Damage quickly? Or more oriented towards Long Term Damage and out-lasting the other kd in War?

Answer this and you'll know what to pick for Heavy Attacker. Choose Warrior if you can't answer. You'll be more flexible.
