Mod Off and Def OOP

Whats a good mod offence and mod defence when coming out of protection? I know don't go defence crazy but wondering whats a good round figure. Also looking for a general rule of thumb for a heavy attacker of any race personality, for someone who wants to do a plunder or land grab. Does not have to be exact just a good general loose guideline.

Mod Off : depends on Race/Pers combo and strat you play. For an Attacker, 75+ OPA is good IMHO.

Coming out of protection few people will have their off/def fully built up yet, so the average values are probably gonna be a lot lower. I'm aiming for 30k defense OOP and around 15k offense to deter hits, but I'm playing a bank, not an attacker.

Point is, you can be the best defended 400-acre province in the game and not do much of anything, or you can grow/explore/attack and have a lower defense. Either way, coming out of protection no one's going to have a good military and a good economy, or a good military and a lot of land.

You either have to be a target that's harder to hit than some, and have a better economy/land so you can build up fast, or be a target that's harder to hit, safer, but builds up slow.

I doubt I'll get chained with 30k def/15k off right out of protection, not that many provs will have 30k offense and even then I'll be able to ambush or retal to get back some land. But one or two hits is expected, after all, no one is safe...

That is pretty weak stats. A normal province trained up would be able to tap that.

Yeah... which is why no one is safe. 30k offense is around 6k specialists or 4k-ish elites, which comes down to anywhere from 1.2 mil - 2 mil GC to train. That's a good bit to spend on offense from 3 days of protection. So it's easy to get 30k offense, but only attackers are going to have spent that much on offense coming OOP, and even then I'm hoping there will be a juicier target out there with even less defense and no offense.

If not, oh well, the point isn't to be unbreakable, just to have enough defense to not get chained, and then attack others or use your land/income advantage to stay ahead of the curve.

Its no where near 6k specs Budlightyear - rest assured its very easy to get 30k even at small sizes.

Defense is irrelevant, the high off provs will all be hitting the full def provs and not get retalled. Your low offense is an insufficient deterrent.
