I haven't used mirc for a while and I downloaded it the other day to use it for utopia
It says that I have a 30 day trial and have to pay $20 after the trial period is over.
Can I keep using it for free after the trial is over or do I actually have to pay the $20?
It keeps working, it just annoys you every time you log in with a 'reminder to register'.

I had the same problem, so instead I downloaded virc or visual irc, but this program has its fair share of things that don't work properly.

You can use Chatzilla if you use Firefox. Both can be downloaded for free and won't bother you with reminders to pay.
