Long term marijuana smoking has a big effect on the mind. I have three 60+ aged doctors in the family, all still practicing that have told me about some of their patients that have been smoking the stuff for their whole life. I cannot repeat exactly what they said (cannot remember the wording) but basically there minds are irreversibly stuffed because of a hormone/chemical that has been overused and abused for so long. One of them is a chest specialist and she said they as far as lungs go marijuana is worse off for you then tobacco and that pot vs cigarette thing is a myth.

I could ask them to word it in an email and I copy it here.

The States of Colorado and Washington have legalized marijuana.

Colorado voters have approved a referendum that supports the legalization of marijuana on a recreational basis. Amendment 64 in Colorado will amend the state constitution to legalize and regulate the production, possession, and distribution of marijuana for persons age 21 and older.

Washington State voters on Tuesday cast their ballots in support of an unorthodox way of raising tax revenue: marijuana legalization. The measure, Initiative 502, will legalize and regulate the production, possession and distribution of cannabis for persons age 21 and older. The Washington referendum called for a 25% tax rate imposed on the product three times: when the grower sells it to the processor, when the processor sells it to the retailer, and when the retailer sells it to the customer. It's not clear exactly how much tax revenue legalization would bring in. Estimates for the Washington measure run as high as $500 million - a figure analysts say is overstated.

Oregon voted no on a similar proposition.

So it looks like we have some discrepancy between state and federal laws, which may end up in some new federal amendments... who knows? At least this is a big step forward for legalization of marijuana in the United States.

Now they're saying these 2 states will even see an increase in "pot tourism" where people will vacation there to smoke pot.
