The hostilities started on July 24th YR3 with Melee Weapons(MW) doing a half-wave of land hits from a fortified stance into Grace, who was also fortified. Melee Weapons also started construction of an Emerald dragon, while Grace's monarch, who was online at the time, responded with starting up a Ruby dragon. January 4th YR4, one of the leaders of Grace approached the monarch of MW about a cease-fire. A cf with terms which included no more hits and ops from either kingdom was agreed to but Grace's ingame monarch wasn't available to put the ingame cf in place. The following hour another leader of Grace came to MW's monarch to apologize because one of their members didn't read the newest orders and began doing ops on MW. January 6th, a late-arriving player from MW didn't read the orders..
January 6 of YR4 Mace (MW) captured 73 acres of land from Im a blonde bimbo girl (Grace).
January 7th, when Grace's monarch came online, they switched stances and did 3 trad marches of some smaller provs from MW...WAR DECLARED!
On the 8th, MW promptly sent their dragon and started a second emerald. Grace's first target to chain was kilij, by far the stongest undead in MW who only had 106 acres of land incoming from the hostile, 6 hits were placed onto kilij along with 2 hits onto MW's largest halfling, Machete. MW still had 9 players with armies home and planned to start their own chain on the 9th..... but the server shut down.... and was down ..... and was down .... and was down .....
After the server was down for 2 hours Grace's monarch came to MW's monarch about a new deal. MW could get all the acres back that Grace had took so far in the war, Grace wouldn't retal and then both kingdoms would get kicked out of war. MW's monarch declined.
7 hours later when the server came back online the game date was still showing Jan 8th, but neither kingdom was able to get in another hit before the tick occurred which brought the game date to Jan 16th. On the 16th MW only had 1 army still out so they began 2 chains, one on You can brush my ha1r, whose armies were out, and another on Come on Barbie lets go party, whose armies were all home, Grace continued to chain kilij however he was online at the time and was able to get his armies back out before most of the hits landed. Come on Barbie lets go party also logged on towards the end of the hour and released enough military to be able to attack. All told, MW was able to place 25 hits that hour, and Grace landed 20, 18 of which were on kilij. Grace also launched their ruby in the middle of the hour and began another. MW felt Grace would be able to fund dragons easily so kept that 1st dragon throughout the war.
Jan 17th MW still had some of their bigger hitters coming online so they added a 3rd chain target, another orc with elites home, Im your dollie. Grace continued their assault on kilij but also started a new chain on Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre. Hits continued to trickle in from both kingdoms as players managed to get their 1st login after the server crash. On Jan 20th Im your dollie, logged and was still deserting but killed the dragon and triple tapped, the following hour MW send their 2nd Emerald.
The rest of the war was a mixture of heavy chaining, semi-chaining, and max gains from both kingdoms. MW did a lot of NSing to soften up chains and to lower the offenses of some of Graces strongest provs, they did some FBing too but that proved ineffective. With only 4 faeries, Grace did not have alot of op power and their biggest was mini-chained early on in the war so most of MW's main threats had nw protection, however they were able to get in some decent ns runs and burn gs before a few chains, they also did a considerable amount of exposing thieves.
Around 36 hours into the war, Feb 18th, Grace killed dragon #2, and while MW had control of the upper half, they also had a few of the worst wrecked provinces and a dragon on them. So MW felt in order to secure the win they needed to get the 3rd dragon launched and get at least 3 of Graces provs below 500 acres. So over the next few hours they poured all their gc into dragon #3 and along with robbing from Grace to help fund it, and they went back to heavy chaining. The 3rd dragon was sent March 1st and a few hours after they accomplished the land size goals.
March 12 of YR4 Unable to achieve victory, our Kingdom has withdrawn from war with Melee Weapons WAR (x:xx). Our failed war has finally ended!

It seemed pretty shady that Grace would come to me to get a CF only to declare war a few hours later. One extra 80 acre hit is pretty minor if you dont want a war. Either they have some kind of power struggle going on within their own leadership, or they blatantly lied about the CF in hopes to gain an advantage in the war. Then to have the gall to come as ask for some kind of fake war is quite pathetic. The war itself was fun, wished they would've left out all the B.S. diplomacy.
