Because we're supposed to have to figure some things out as a community. It has always been like that.

what i do on dealing with the situation now is:
1. attack any defense maniac i see (faery is always a good choice) who hasn't been attacked
2. not having any TG oow ... more raw troops sending the better
3. not having any horse or dungeons so i can send more raw troops
4. not oversending
5. attacking only on my range n kd range
6. get intra-razed or letting my elf kd mates ll me (if they need land) when i'm fat
7. or if intra raze isn't possible, i do learn attack on a faery in a bigger kd to get chopped down by his friends:)
Hitting from fortified doesn't reduce elite conversions, but you only gain 50% land so that helps your epa. But hitting into fortified does reduce your the conversions. I haven't noticed kd nw affecting conversions, but gbp does quite abit.
