Mostly Harmless vs Perversion HaJ
With both Kingdoms being undefeated all age(perversion HaJ 3/3 and Mostly Harmless 4/4) and Mostly Harmless being four days out of end of war cease fire and looking to get one more war in before Christmas were granted thier wish when Perversion HaJ fired up an emerald dragon and proceeded to roll through thier Elfs with a full massacre wave. Not wasting any time with no discussions or plans between monarchs Mostly Harmless start thier own emerald dragon and declared four hours later after making a only hand full of pre war hits including a few well placed plunders.
April 5 of YR6 Mostly Harmless HOSTILE has declared WAR with our kingdom!
Immediatly after declaring Mostly Harmless got stuck in taking over 1000acres before they were haunted by Perversion HaJ's dragon, continuing thier opening wave by making a further twenty hits in the first three hours by semi-chaining certain key provinces with either no incoming land or high offence to start the over poping process. As soon as thier first wave was finished Mostly Harmless slayed the first of two Emerald dragons.
Siezing the moment after quick drop of specialists, Perversion HaJ started thier campain by deep chaining 2 provinces they felt were a particular threat, all this before they recieved there first and only dragon. After this initial period both sides started semi-chaining key provinces.
24 hours in and Mostly Harmless quickly relized they did not have the economical advantage and that thier offensive spell casting was severly hampered due to the success of Perversion HaJ's massacre wave pre-war, only able to effectivly cast on land fat Orcs whose WPA had dropped. Not relizing this at the time Perversion HaJ had decided to 'eat' thier dragon and kept it on them the whole war resulting in Mostly Harmless spending over 10million in gold on a dragon that was never to be sent, meanwhile Perversion HaJ had no problems with thier ops all war, keeping certain duration/blanket ops on strategical targets while fireballing and night striking others.
With minimum time just around the corner Perversion HaJ feeling that they were "pounding thier way to victory" and due to ops and dragon slaying switched to max gains expecting Mostly Harmless to withdraw asap. Mostly Harmless noticing this straight away continued chaining and for a period after min time felt a little resurgance on thier end.
After min time Mostly Harmless discussed the Halfling problem at length and decided to chain them down when they send out leaving little defence at home. Catching a couple through out the war they were never able to put successfull chains on any of them due in part to them either not hitting in certain waves or not sending much offence out.
Perversion Haj kept the enemies oping power down throughout the war by periodicly massacring Elfs.
Through out the war both sides used ambushing effectively, re-capuring acres from chain targets and taking out precious elites.
72hours into the war Mostly Harmless recieved thier second emerald dragon and due to poor economy, ops and previous dragon slaying kept this one them for the duration.
As the war closed in on the 100 hour mark and clearly bleeding networth and acres after each chain Mostly Harmless decided it was time to withdraw, deciding to max gain and let some of thier now smaller provinces regain some land and withdraw asap to prevent further land drops in certain provinces. Due to either foresight or luck Perversion HaJ were able to put 20 hits on the enemy before the withdraw came.
After securing the economy advantage very early on and continually placing well thoughtout and planned hits for the entirity of the war secured a well fought victory.
February 1 of YR7 Mostly Harmless WAR has withdrawn from war. Our people rejoice at our victory!

Like many wars it was entertaining and enlightening, albeit a bit curious. From the unintentional onset to the final moments, there were strategical twists and turns. Activity was in good form and province management was integral to our kingdom's success. There were a few unorthodox choices made by leadership,
which worked out to the kingdoms advantage and secured the war win. The opponent waged a clean and fair war and the war forums were brief yet friendly, which is always refreshing. Perversion HaJ would like to extend it's thanks to Mostly Harmless for a diligent and well fought war effort. Overall it went a little longer than it could have, but that was viewed as an opportunity to test resilience and determination. All in all the war was well fought and a positive play experience for the entire kingdom which is what we really play for.
