Dopefiends waved Stronghold (SH) with a max gain land wave on june 23 YR6. SH were semi ready and although not really looking for war activity they decided to push for it and try to war one last time before this year was over. Both kingdoms started dragons with Dopies going for a gold while SH opted for a ruby.

It took SH several hours to get people online so that they ambush and retal before declaring:

SH tried to target the human merchants of Dopies, focusing on the 2 provinces that had bounced their hits in the initial wave prior to war being declared. SH succeeded to a degree but were unable to chain them all the way down. With war now declared, it meant the sending and arrivals of the dragons:

SH had a setup focused on using Nightmares and the overall plan was to use NM to take down the elves of Dopies but due to the holidays and the subsequent impact on activity, SH decided to focus on hitting the humans instead. They also decided to keep the dragon on them because they felt that Dopies were in a much better position to keep sending dragons. While SH were focusing on chaining down the humans, Dopies focused on taking out the provinces that posed a threat to their elves. They wanted to protect the elves from being hit down as it would allow them to dictate a lot of aspects of the war.
As their first dragon was killed after a few hours, SH started another one, which took them quite a long time to send:

Over the course of the war, SH were able to chain most of the human provinces in Dopies but as they had left the elves mostly untouched, meant that they were able to produce gold and stay fully pumped. This allowed the elves of Dopies to focus on FBing provinces in SH, controlling their economy and nw development along with being able to focus on conquesting down the faeries of SH. The focus being that, if they could conquest the faeries down enough, they could start to massacre them. This happened towards the end of the war and put a huge dent in the prospects of SH winning the war. Dopies had a strong advantage as they 7-8 UB elves by the end of the war and with massacres starting to occur on their Faeries, SH threw in the towel.
July 22 of YR7 Unable to achieve victory, our Kingdom has withdrawn from war with uWar. Our failed war has finally ended!

Good war, both sides. I think I havent been in such a long war before. But it was christmas time and it did affect our activity a little bit. I hope we can offer a better fight next time.
