UF NEWS: War-Athon beats Serenity
War-Athon fresh from their 5th war and losing 4 players were waving another kd in hopes to get their 6th war until one of War-Athon's provs allegedly hit first into Serenity causing Serenity to wave back in response. War-Athon claimed it received a message from Serenity after a double hostile occured asking for war to which War-Athon agreed to promptly. War-Athon already having the button, made sure all armies were home before they pushed it and grabbed a superior advantage on their first war wave.
War-Athon upon declaring, quickly took down one of Serenity's province which had army out down to under 300 acres and deep chained Serenity's king who had no incoming land. Serenity responded with attacks of their own, but unfortunately they were unable to muster enough activity due to the holiday season. Despite Serenity's Emerald Dragon, War-Athon responded to this opportunity by continuing with chains and sending their Gold Dragon followed by multiple NS and a blanket of Meteor Showers and droughts to increase the pressure on Serenity. Chain targets were given the harsh treatment of Pitfalls and Bribe Generals to increase their losses even further. Foreseeing their victory, War-Athon proceeded for max honor gain as well as land gains and Serenity quickly surrendered at minimum time to avoid losing even more. As a result of this war, War-Athon was bumped right up into the top 100 honor charts once more.
