Harmony HaJ vs Vengeance.
Any bad blood from last age between PurpleHaze and the HaJ alliance carried over to this age when after Icey HaJ found out early in the age where Vengeance was and decided to wave them in the hope of a war after warring last age. This upped the anti between all kingdoms involved as Vengeance decided to war Perversion HaJ instead and lost. Not long after these events Icey HaJ still wanted thier war they re-waved Vengeance and once the war had been declared, the whole objective for Icey was to drop Jupiter, the province of PurpleHaze because of the continued threats of razes and the whole stigma that PH attaches to size.
Below is a quote from one of the players in Icey and his analysis on their war with Vengeace:
"While their bottom provinces were turtling, we were continuing to bring down their other provinces, at one point before we switched to max gains, we had 5 provinces under 500 acres with another on the way. Chaining that many to about that level killed their networth. All those halfers were overpopped and dropped NW like a bad habit."
Icey identified the dwarve provinces as less of a threat so they focused on bringing the halfers down since they were more active and more of a threat. ANY chance Icey got to hit PH they did, which was quite often because the PH kept oversending on razes. Icey used annon on all hits on Jupiter and also used annon on the first big 5 hits on any halfer to avoid them ambushing and reclaiming some of the acres. Icey felt the war had been won by min time and didn't bother to fund their 2nd dragon as they full expected Vengeance to WD which they did. They felt that as long as they could mess up the province of Purplehaze, there was no way he was going to stay in the war. Certainly in this case, that turned out to be true.
Following these events Vengeance waiting until Perversion HaJ ended thier EOWCF with Mostly Harmless and waved them that same hour. Harmony started hitting Vengeance the next hour to help get Vengeance to back off of Perversion. During this hostile period Harmony focused on hitting provinces with armies at home or those larger provinces with armies out to split the networth of Vengeance between the top few provinces and the rest of the kingdom.

Vengeace declared on Christmas day after hostilities began earlier on Christmas eve.
June 18 of YR7 Vengeance HOSTILES has declared WAR with our kingdom!
There were no dragons as Vengeance had a gold dragon pointed at Perversion and Harmon opted not to start a dragon so as to use the resources to keep trained and fully built. Vengeance were just under 2 million nw and 11k acres larger than Harmony, thus Mad_Scottish of Harmony felt it was rather pointless to start a dragon against a kingdom with a much stronger economy. Given the fact that hostilities had started on christmas eve and living up armies was problematic due to people being busy and taking time to get online, Harmony focused on duration ops and fireballs against the largest provinces in Vengeance. Aries, 4inher and Mercury along with Jupiter were the largest provinces and had the biggest economies. FB were focused on all 4 provinces with NS also being purely focused on Jupiter.
With war declared on christmas day it was nearly impossible to get everyone on to set up a full wave so Harmony continued to focus on networth splitting Vengeance to keep provinces in top gains range for their orcs. Vengeance focused on semi chaining the orcs for gains, which only helped Harmony in the long run. As the war neared the 24 hour mark, Harmon had organised a wave time for people to be on for and heavy chained Jupiter, monarch of Vengeance and province of Purplehaze. The province was dropped 4400 acres within an hour while hits were also focused on other provinces to control their networth and bring in further gains and honour. Vengeance continued to semi chain/max gain against the orcs of Harmony while sending in a couple of hits on the faeries, made by 4inher and Aries. Mercury was also able to get a hit on Crimson Tide, which led to him being chained down in another wave made by Harmony. By this stage, Harmony were focusing their NS on 4inher to drop his offence so that he was unable hit one of the larger faeries without completely suiciding. The faeries also increased their drafts and started to train more defence which also prevented Aries making any further hits, after 2 previous bounces being made.

Around the middle of the war, there was also provinces getting banned due to comments being made in the war forums. 2 of the provinces in Vengeance were banned and were completely locked out of their provinces. Mad_Scottish of Harmony stated that he was only aware of the one province that had been banned, which he assumed was Mantus due to the comment made about a players daughter "getting raw dawged by her uncle from behind". It was posted in the utopia forums as well, as the player did not seem to think that that was a breach in player conduct. The war forums as a whole were creating a lot of animosity between the kingdoms and both monarchs and some of the other players in the kingdoms had to step in and make a post asking people to just focus on the war rather than just continually flaming each other.

The 3rd day of the war was probably the biggest turning point as Harmony were able to take 7800 with their evening wave dropping 3 provinces, while continuing to op down 4inher with NS. By the end of the 3rd day in the war, the 2 million nw and 10-11k acre advantage that Vengeance had held over Harmony was gone. By the morning of the 4th day, harmony were pulling away in terms of acres and networth and with the NM and NS runs province so effective, it was only a matter of time before the other large provinces of Vengeance would be dropped. Vengeance hit with as decent a wave as they could before Harmony were able to make another evening wave and withdrew from the war.
March 20 of YR8 Vengeance WAR has withdrawn from war. Our people rejoice at our victory!

There is a lot of BS and a lot of beef between a few of our kingdoms and Vengeance right now. It is mainly related between the actions of Purplehaze and what he feels are the actions of HaJ and the whole dynamic of, we think we are right and he thinks he is right. Either way, I am getting a bit sick of dealing with it and over the next few days I am hoping to be able to put the whole drama to rest so that the kingdoms involved can just focus on themselves and their ages without having to deal with on going issues. Hi PH, I mean this seriously because I would like everyone to be able to move on without the BS slinging and this turning into a pain in the butt for everyone involved.... There are issues with you guys, perversion and icey. Would you give me your take on the whole thing so that I can talk to both kingdoms about it all and try and get things to a point where one kd isnt looking to just constantly jump on the other and what not. I appreciate that, honestly. I would prefer our kingdoms can agree to a peaceful resolution to the hostility. Honestly, the best thing I can think of right now would be a NAP with CF's sent to our respective kingdoms and we can both move on for rest of the age and discuss further age arrangelemts later on.

Right now there is a lot of heat and there is just more and more BS developing and it annoys me mainly because we used to get on, regardless of how things ended with HaJ. I would rather get back to a cordial relationship that is based on mutual respect and trust, which is completely lacking atm and that sucks. I would rather see your kingdom continue to develop and players not getting warped by what has become quite an intense age of involvement between you guys and us (icey, perversion and harmony). So games aside, the whole previous history of this age aside, I would really like to try and move forward. I will send a cf along to you! I will talk to perversion and icey and get them to send cfs or you can send them and I can tell them to accept etc. I cant send a cf at the moment (obviously due to the war) but will happily sort it once we are out of war.
