    T/M dpa

What's good DPA to run as T/M?

DPNW is equally important. How high def you run depends mostly on your kingdom's attackers. You generally want to have at least 30% more DPA and DPNW than them.

Anything below 100 dpa is asking to be hit at least once/day. Not that you're safe with 100 dpa though.

That's an over-exaggeration, but you want to be close to 100 DPA. You could probably get away with something closer to 90 DPA as well, but 100 DPA is better.

If you're running something under 100 dpa, you had better be doing something pretty clever to avoid getting hit

In hostilities/war, have heavy attackers who are more dangerous on the surface, and OOW 90 DPA will deter a lot more hits than you're making out.

For an Orc 100 opa is rather weak. Hitting a T/M is a free hit because they can't hit back. So you'll need more dpa to keep those Orcs out.

Being active and spending your cash before it gets plundered helps avoid incoming plunders. Picking Sage helps avoid incoming learns.

Theres a certain point dpa will not matter. You will get bottomfed on regardless. Running to much dpa you sacrifice what could be higher tpa/wpa.

Whats more important is having kd mates retalling hits made on your faery. If a non orc province hits into your 90-100dpa faery province, odds are someone in your kd should be able to double tap retal if it isnt a huge bottomfeed hit.

Oh, I disagree. 90 DPA Faeries are my favorite targets OOW.

And I get one of my orcs to 2x retal for me while you've got most of your army out. It's not about "keeping them out" because you can't do that and stay effective as a T/M. It's about making them send more than they really want to to break you and getting one of your KD mates to 2-3x retal for you while the enemy's defense is out.

P.S. Just realized that Flaming Knights just said the same thing XD
