The official Sanc vs Pulse thread

Instead of news reports afterwards, I'm going to start liveblogging these formidable foes. Sanctuary as always has a good setup and may end up farming us. If they do, this will cause Proteus to start having convulsions. I will report on Proteus's heart rate every 6 hours.

23 hitters is a lot of hitters, will be tough, but 46 minutes into this contest it's currently looking like it has the potential to be a standard "lets give pulse notice then freak out when they outtrain us and stall" game.

Currently both sides are in fortified, who's base blinks first? Pulse didn't even set an event on the hour the notice expired as to not upset the morale of the kingdom, so clearly the first blow to morale has swung in pulse's favor.

The age old question of whether its worth it to gain less land, or to hit someone turtled is something both sides will be debating back and forth I imagine long through the night.

I'll report back at the first sign of action, so far just a little light robbing.

As the first tick starts without conflict, the weary must get some food. An interesting question: Sanctuary might want to stall but they fought this hoping for the bankcrown. Just how much pool do they want to sit in fortified with and lose in war?

That guy that says odd alot said we were noticed because we explored an elf. Our pool was gone and we had been slowly exploring for the past 3 weeks while maintaining good TPA/WPA. Definately an odd decision. Still unsure as to the endgame here of sitting in fortified. We had no goals or aspirations so not sure how this bothers us.

Letting us fight someone else and then fighting us afterwards while weakened seemed their only chance at crowning, not sure why they didn't realize this.

Do we smack them turtled? seems reasonable I suppose. Surely no reason to give a button, however so 2 or 7? We forgot thieves took 19 hours to train so its nice to have the extra 5 hours. Only one feary too, does massacring make sense? Probably.

Hope this goes to war, I wonder how thoose dwarfs wpa gona hold up against pulses elfs and DEs.

I think sanc was genuinely scared of running faeries due to what I said about keeping them lagging all age.
