    Opinions on Fortified

    Since the age is well progressed we'd like to get an idea of what you think of the Fortified Stance. Is it too strong, too weak etc. This will help us plan more appropriately for next age.

    It is nice for pumping. I have found troop losses when waved in it to be quite high especially multiple hits on a single province. I think perhaps it effects gangbang in a way that allows multiple hits to still do a lot of damage.

    It is nice to pump in but i am uncertain it provides enough protection, still it is more useful then it has ever been before

    I didn't use Fort enough to get a sense for if it's too strong or not. I'm going to assume it's perfect since it was my idea ;p

    Well, IMO it should offer a slightly higher protection.

    To high casulties when receiving hits. Plus landloss is a bit to high. I dont feel protected enough at all to manage any real pump.
    Maybe we have to many enemies and to few CFs. But protection is not as high as i would like it to be.

    Overall i like fortified and the removal of fake war.

    When i think about it fake war was WAY more safe then any fort stance. Maybe gains hitting into fort should be same gain as hitting into war? Maybe also 80%+ sots to be accurate?

    I like the way you fade into fort just like war-effects fade in..

    Just joggling some ideas around above...

    I find it usefull for fast rebuilding but dont like the style of play it encourages by forcing ppl to wave for 50% gains. Nerfing protection from incoming hits to would help there. Would make it very situational but it allrdy is with caped sci and no dicing so who cares ...

    Forti's a joke.

    It combines too many features in one go. The cheaper training and stuff is good, but if you combo that up with -50% gains hitting in, you're never hitting into fortified.

    Break it up into two stances or lower the gains hitting in.

    And fix the grading in during war. Because a kingdom can come out after war on full forti bonus and exit right when they wave, no sooner.

    it held us back from waving a couple of kingdoms.
    I'm not crying over it. It sure works for kingdoms "cowardly" hiding. It's used for the wrong purpose. Instead of preventing FW and stimulating real action, it's made our age 5 times more boring than usual.

    There aren't any real drawbacks to it either. Who cares about +100% explore cost and no dice.

    It's good that you're trying to create a game mechanic like this, and sure, the idea is great, but the -50% gains is just way over the top. Combined with high gs, u can LL more than you can be hit for..
