How do you kill a thief mage?

Question to especially successful warring kingdoms. How do you go about kill a thief/mage province.

Generally, thief mage provinces have 70-120 DPA and can only be 1x'd by a player. In war, massacring a thief mage leaves you open to be deeply chained in return with no land incoming. Your enemy can generally do this to at least 2 of your provinces so it seems sacrificing 2 attackers for 1 thief/mage is not a viable strategy.

Hitting it down for land to reduce its NW range helps, but it also increases their WPA/TPA, which I suppose isn't a concern if it never fails anyways.

Mass before war :p hitting it down for land with tm and conquest in war is just as effective imo.

Forcing their t/m to LL to stay afloat is far preferable to eating ms/fb/nm/nado. Also attack time doesn't suffer since you don't have to anon.

a good t/m the right size not worth killing or unkillable. but these are few and far between.

a perfect way to kill them is by deep chain them with trad march.. once they release they are useless without off/t/m

As a t/m who's never been killed ( & alot have tried) ..... My biggest fear isn't massacres .... Oh please do waste your energy on me ...... Or mass trad march ...... End result is some newbie in YOUR kingdom is about to get arse raped ..... My biggest fear is starving ..... All t/m run their bushel production on the edge and once you can't feed your mill they no longer want to hang around and be helpful ...... And I've woken up had to send the desperate SEND ME FOOD NOW ! mass message.
