The movie depicts how religions are made. A human says something and a bunch of people follow him. I'd say all religions are made in this way, created by a humans. I don't trust random humans.

To summarize my posts underlying theme: IMO it's absolutely useless to put religion vs science as both are undefined and extremely infused with subjectivity.
They may merge, exist side by side till eternity or one may exclude the other. It's a big fat guessing game, even for the believers.
Science shall exclude Religion as soon as life is discovered in other parts of the Universe, just my two cents on the matter. Science is well defined, it is a search for the truth. Religion is something entirely different, it claims to know the answers with no proof whatsoever - a thing religious people call faith.
My mum and dad made me, god did not.
