    Mage Guilds

    I have heard conflicting statements upon Mage Guilds, is there a maximum or not?

    As i shall be Mystic next age does/will that half the maximum?

    When pumping wizard, no there is no max (well, 100%, but that's obvious...) In war, you want a mod of 20%, so your %*BE*Personality = 20% That normally works out to be 11-12%.

    20% is the % needed for max duration on spells. If you're casting offensive spells, then you want the most bang for your buck.

    11-12% Guilds for a Mystic should be enough to get to you to the 20% after factoring in BE and Personality. 12*2*.835=20.04%

    Aaah righteo, thank you. I shall be mainly casting Tornadoes, Fireballs and such, instant damage spells as i shall be Elf.

    instant spells arent affected by guild percentage.

    True, if he only wants to cast instant spells (and self spells) during war, then 6-8% guilds would work just fine as it (as far as we know) doesn't play a part in spell damage.

    I understand that about instant and duration spells, i was just replying to Ordray's comment above my own.

    I shall have 30% Guilds in protection i think, and let the percentage drop gradually as i explore, paradise and TM more acres into my Province.
