    Race for age 53

I was wondering what you guys thought about 2 races iv been going over. Im thinking about

    Human merchant
    or
    Half/merch

im going to be attacking alot. so i like alll the defence from the halfers but they lack the attacking power of the human. pros and cons would be great.

    Thanks guys

Halfer if you want to honor whore.
Human if you want to gain land and be more useful to your kd.

Edit: Merchant is wrong for Halfling. Pick Sage or Warrior if you want to play the race.

Halfling/merch is not a good combination... their selling point is their cheap military, their weakness is crap offense. Warrior can go a long way towards mitigating that for an a/t, with quick feet putting them close to a tactician's base attack time, but they're still going to be pretty weak.

Human is better for almost everything. If you're playing in a random or average kingdom, pick human - you'll do better for yourself and your allies.

Definitely go Human/Merch. It's a well known combination, and it's worked throughout the ages in every possible kingdom set-up.

Out of those two, I'd go Human/Merch. But then again, my favorite for next age is Human/Sage as an attacker or A/t.

True, but I don't expect drastic changes from the current proposal.

I doubt they change at all, but then again I've been wrong before.

They'll no doubt make some tweaks to NW values and such at the very least.
