The initial conflict started when Sanctuary gave InZZolence notice, which was after they had already given notice to PULSE as well. InZZolence prepared for it and started stealing their resources when the notice had expired. Just as they prepared to start throwing in more hits trying to bait them, Sanctuary decided to wave PULSE instead. InZZolence only noticed this after they had an emerged victorious battle and did a CE upon Sanctuary and it was clear they were waving Pulse. InZZolence cancelled their hits when they saw this and instead prepared for whenever PULSE and Sanctuary would finish. Several players from Sanctuary had PMed InZZo about the hostile which they had already noticed, and asked them to backoff. The downside of this request was that despite honouring the hostile, Sanctuary was casting Land Lust on InZZo. When InZZo asking them to stop, they were apparently met with the response that "The player isnt on IRC". Eventually it stopped when InZZo threatended to continue to hit Sanctuary for every further LL that they received.
Eventually PULSE and Sanctuary went to war, which unfortunately meant more time to wait for InZZolence. When their war had ended, InZZo knew it was only a matter of days before things escalated with Sanc once again. On May 8th, YR11 InZZolence started a Sapphire dragon project and funded it down to 1gc. InZZo presumed that Sanctuary did the same as they had also started a Sapphire dragon on May 14th.
On May 16th, instantly after Sanc came out of EOW CF, they sent their Sapphire. InZZolence responded and sent theirs and created & funded a new one down to 1gc. They stole the high cash supplies in Sanctuary as several of their provinces came out of war short of thieves and had 20-30m gc stocked up. Most of it was stolen in the first hour. InZZolence started hitting on the 16th sending 6 hits out in May with the goal to kill as many troops as possible.
Sanctuary responded with just 2 hits as they did not want to give relations. On June 5th, when the armies of InZZolence where gathered back home, they launched a new wave of hits. They killed lots of troops (13-15k kills on the biggest provinces), and since Sanctuary did not declare InZZolence repeated this act every time their armies returned. Then finally, on July 10th, YR11, Sanctuary finally declared.
July 10 of YR11 Sanctuary of Absalom has declared WAR with our kingdom!
At that time InZZo had about 9 armies away including 2 of their larger provinces. As the Sanctuary bank had slain the earlier dragon that had been sent, InZZo sent the new Sapphire which was fully funded. InZZo still had the Sapphire on them, but as they negated the effect they let it live rather than burning troops on it. Since they had setup for the thievery advantage against their dwarves, InZZo set up 3 Nightstrike targets and choose to let them live till close to mintime of the war.
Sanctuary initiated the war with a chain on, we suited up for battle. Sanc also did a number of hits on, could it be a bad omen, but not enough to do any real damange to the province. InZZo's troops where spread, so they couldn't chain as effectively as Sanc were able to do. InZZo started off by hitting Pantera as they had a few midsized provinces waiting with their armies home. Shortly after that they started hitting Skid Row and Queensryche, some of Sancs top NW provinces, to gain control of the top NW. Both provinces lost about 50% of their acres.
Sanctuary targetted, become contested We, and ,this be the one No its, on their second wave. They also did a few maxgain hits which InZZo assumed was to prevent loosing control of the top NW. InZZo's second wave was mainly focussed on Dream Theater and Cinderella. They noticed Sanctuary's cow had slain the 2nd Sapphire dragon and as InZZO felt the Sapphire was no longer needed and they had more use for the military advantage they sent a Ruby dragon on July 24th. (InZZo don't know when Sanctuary killed this one, but it died probably around 24 hours before the end of the war I believe).
On the third wave from Sanctuary, they focussed on pillage and steal your, and for the second time on, could it be a bad omen. As war prolongued, their chains seemed to be less effective as the damage from the chains was lower as on the initial war wave. InZZo continued to take control of the top NW and took down Poison, who had been under heavy NS since hour 1 of war. Def Leppard had suffered from the same NS and also became victim of a chain. As the kingdoms got closer to mintime, Sanctuary focused more on maxgains. They were no longer chaining like they had for the first 3 waves and where spreading hits. InZZo continued to semi chain to control the top, and we hit down Exodus, the 3rd province they had worked with NS.
On February 8th, YR11, which was 2 hours before mintime, Sanctuary started a maxgain wave. At first InZZo thought they would withdraw close to mintime, but hits kept coming. They went all out with max gaining, but despite doing so, they lost almost 3000 acres in those last 8 hours where both kingdoms max gained. Due to the difference in attack time InZZo knew they could make 3 waves in 25-26 hours for Sancs 2 waves every 20-22 hours and InZZo saw the opportunity for gaining more land, but also saw the risk. InZZo could launch a 2nd wave before Sanc could, but InZZo would risk loosing a huge bulk of land to max gains from Sanc and see them WD from the war with those gains. InZZolence decided to ninja WD with the gains they had and left the war giving Sanctuary the win.
February 16 of YR12 Unable to achieve victory, our Kingdom has withdrawn from war with Sanctuary of Absalom. Our failed war has finally ended!

Please don't accuse others of vulturing when:
1) You serve notice while being in conflict with another kingdom
2) You sent a dragon before any ops/hits are done just as you leave EOW CF.
