    Stables?

Do horses provide more than just +1 attack power? Last age horses seem to reduce losses in a unique way, and still seemed to this age. I guess its based off if losses work this way, but seems to work for me. Right or wrong I was just wondering.

Example of losses. Each attack you loss 1000 troops but just here is what I think I see. Losses are split by % of each unit sent elites suffer the same as specs and merc/prisoners are not counted in losses.

all specialists = 1000 dead specialists
50% specialist and 50% elites = 500 dead specialist and 500 dead elites
all elite = 1000 dead elites
all spec (or elites) 1 horse per unit = 500 dead spec (or elites) and 500 dead horses

I just find I lost a lot less troops when I send out an army on horses than I do without, could be nw difference who knows. I have never seen a clear post on how losses are figured.

Elites die at a slower rate than specs do.. Both on offense and defense.... Full elite armies will have a lower death toll than a full off spec army... Let's say army one you send out 1000 halfling elites and army 2 you send out 1000 off specs... Army 1 will suffer less losses because it's an all elite army.... say army 3 you send out 800 halfling elites and 800 horses to the same target as army 1&2 you will lose less units because you sent less...

I have found that stables are not worth building in anything more than 5%, better to use those acres as Training Grounds to increase your offensive military.

    Hold 60 horses
    Produce 0 horses per day

I built one stable just for the heck of it and apparently one stable is not enough to produce any horses at all. I do not understand this, what is the minimum and why is there a minimum?

How many acres do i have to waste to just have a few dozen horses for the heck of it?

Why is it that 2 horses will always stay in your province if you had stables?

No. Losses are the same for both Elites and Specs.
(It used to be that Elites died slower, but that was a while ago)

Anri, you can also steal horses and keep two as pets.

I am not pi$$ed, i am just wondering how a stable - a building designed to produce and house horses, fails to create horses. I know that logic has little to do with this game but it seems strange that a stable can't create horses.

I have the stable simply for the novelty of it.
