Jerk by nature. 1 Bogdan to rule them all!
I've had this debate with my kingdom and they still feel the need to go multiple races as attackers, seeing the benifits in each race/pers.
What is the main drive behind top kingdom choosing the same attacking race?
Simplistic?
I like how this thread went from one about what races the top kds have chosen to a blast fest of twyla's race/pers choice.. some of the comment were hilarious though
elf mystic is bad as a a/m. unless you can assume you will be stagnant in the war, incoming acres will wreck your wpa and kill your MS chances. FB is always useful though but then its just better to go sage.
btw faery warr ftw

Usually because there are one or two favored races, by the game mechanics. I would ass-ume it is more evident when playing for land and nw than kingdoms that are just looking to win wars.
Picking a core of the same race with the same advantages means that, as a kingdom, you're going to do better at that one thing than you would with a mix of races trying to compensate for each others' weaknesses. Playing to one race's advantages can work very well... you don't need to have everything at a kingdom level in moderation, like having a certain number of t/ms or hybrids or banks or humans or whatever, to balance out to averageness. Take a swarm of undead or orc attackers and you'll do fine... or take a core of humans and have money coming out of your pants. Mixing it up only blunts what your kingdom wants to do, in these examples. It's not an unbreakable rule, but the point is that you don't have to run certain kinds of provinces just because... like, you don't need to have a hybrid just to have one.
ah, its good to be back... having a real laugh at some of the posts in this thread.. :)
I like Av/Cleric.
LOL @ Furrie saying Realest is wrong about Elf/Shephard...
