UF NEWS: Bodega of Lotus Ends Modesty's Streak in EoA War!
In what appears to be one of the toughest wars of Age 52, Bodega of Lotus fights it out with Modesty to a grand finish. Bodega of Lotus chose to target Modesty due to their lack of Unbreakables. It was to be a real test as both Bodega of Lotus and Modesty effectively ran similar setups except with Modesty running a core of Undead Warriors whereas Bodega of Lotus opted for Orc Clerics. Bodega also mentioned that they went after Modesty to avenge CanWe's loss and opened a wave on May YR12 targetting Modesty's larger undeads. Bodega of Lotus opened the wave with stacking Pitfalls, Bloodlust and Bribe Generals to maximise defensive losses. However, since the larger undead was well out of range, most of Bodega's provinces experienced return times in excess of 20 hours. Modesty responded in kind to the wave as similiar to a declaration of war and proceeded to capitalize on undead's undying offence to bouncewave Bodega's unbreakables and massarce them once their defences had been breached. Further down the hostile period, Bodega of Lotus approached Modesty to negotiate a war declaration time which Modesty found in their best interest to keep the element of surprise and denied Bodega of Lotus a specific war declaration date.

War Period:
Modesty chose an excellent declaration time as Bodega's provinces still had armies out for more than 15 hours and got a free war wave to start off the war. Modesty further capitalized on their advantage by a blanket of econ ops and forced Bodega to empty their vaults in order to retrain defences lost to Meteor Showers. Bodega countered Modesty's economic attacks by building up five big unbreakables that would function later on as banks. Modesty quickly discovered however, that Bodega's orcs had the advantage in the number of attacks as they had five generals as opposed to four. After slaying the first set of ruby dragons, both kingdoms sent their next set of ruby dragons and prepared gold dragons as their third dragon. Fearing the power of the Gold Dragon, Bodega chose to tank the second ruby and not slay it as the third Gold Dragon will ultimately cripple their economies beyond recovery. Soonafter, Bodega sent their Gold Dragon to Modesty and it quickly turned in their favor. The war dragged on until it was finally near the End of Age and Modesty chose to conceed the win to Bodega of Lotus for a job well done.
