Hostilities commenced when Empyreans sent a series of hits into The Crayons starting on February 8, YR3. Empyreans mentioned that they had shortlisted several kingdoms as potential war targets and were randoming their way down the list. Empyreans were itching for war, having turned Nobles away several days ago. Therefore, they immediately sat up and paid attention when they received several retals from The Crayons. EyeSmiles (of the Crayons) stated that he asked for a ceasefire after receiving the first hit, as their kingdom had just got out of war. With a few ticks passing and four more hits from Empyreans into The Crayons, EyeSmiles made the executive decision to retaliate by targeting Empyreans' elf with massacres and plundering several million gold coins.
According to EyeSmiles, the rationale behind retaliating was to ensure that they did not lose all negotiating power for a ceasefire and to minimize Empyreans' gains in the 24 hours it would take for full fortified benefits to phase in. AniTinA (Empyreans) was originally asleep when the message for ceasefire was sent by The Crayons. As they had received several retals by The Crayons by the time the message was read, AniTinA disregarded the message and Empyreans waited to see if The Crayons would continue hitting. Instead, The Crayons dealt them with a war declaration 14 hours after the first hit, which took them unaware.

The Crayons opted for chains which turned into semi-chains, due to an insufficient number of attackers according to EyeSmiles.
Empyreans employed a more straightforward approach, chaining high offense provinces from the get go. The second wave comprised of max gains, on the assumption that The Crayons might surrender. When that line of thinking was disproved, Empyreans returned to chaining active provinces of The Crayons.
During the war, Parallax from The Crayons was killed following a concentrated number of hits sent to overpopulate him, combined with his forgetting to turn off wizard training.
Two dragons were received by The Crayons in the course of the 72 hour war (a Ruby followed by an Emerald), whereas Empyreans were gifted with a single Ruby Drake.
At the 72-hour mark, The Crayons threw in the towel, citing a lack of activity for their withdrawal.

Was a good war Crayon has some very active provs they should be proud of how they did we actually had to create an award for one of my provs that got chained all war. Empyrean Underworld was nicknamed "Energizer bunny from hell" for all the attacks he took. We await a rematch with Crayon next age should they want one always nice to see how a kd grows over the age. And just like last time we had an article written on us Empyrean is what is because of each and every prov in the kd. I am honored to be the monarch of this group of players.
