When waving try and make 3-4 land grabs on their highest offense provinces.. With their armies in especially undeads and clerics.... land drop em enough to overpopulate them then move to the next high offense prov... you want to disable their biggest threat to you winning the war... If they have a large faery that will be unbreakable by time war starts take the oppurtunity to hit them...
It depends upon the situation OP.
Tell us information about your kd, and information about the kd you are waving, and then we can go from there.
The best generalized advice i can give you though is to not give up button, unless you're in a much more advantageous situation than the kd you are hitting. And if you are, u probably have to give up button if you want to war them. Not many kingdoms are suicidal.
