I think some people run stables OOW and then convert stables to TG's/other buildings at war time. Then just never let your army sit home for an hour tick and you'll keep the majority of your horses.

What Landro said works. Be sure to train 1.5-2 tpa instead of 1 tpa... you'll want them at war start, and undeads can steal resources as well as anyone.

You might be able to skip banks sometimes, and replace the land with other stuff. If you're exceptionally small relative to your kingdom, it'd be better to build stables with that land, and if you're small enough they can raze-rebuilt to whatever you like so long as you keep armies out.

You might as well take the time outside of war to build extra guilds and wizard pump, to make enemy mages a little less powerful and to have possible access to nightmare and chastity. The latter is exceptionally powerful, though difficult to cast, but if runes are available and you're willing to accept a few fails to put it up, it's quite worth it. During war your guild rates can vary between 5% to 15% depending on how important warspoils is, and how much you want to get benefit from duration ops if you can cast them.

    Question

    Ok now im confused.
Undeads can steal rescources as well?
I thought they could only do basic thief ops and i assumed that meant intel ops only.
Can undead do stealing ops as well then?

I mean guide doesnt clear things up for me really, it speaks of espionage ops and offensive ops.
Then offensive is split up into stealing and mischief ops.

Undead can only do basic ops*
Humans get 40% bonus on sabotage ops

What does sabotage ops mean, Sabotage wizards?
    *frowns*

Basic = ops available without relations.

In practice this means; no nightstrike, no sabotage wizards. That's it.
