Ambush as halfing

Hi I have a quick question about ambush.

What strength do soldiers fight with as halfing + aggression in ambush attacks?

is it 3, 2 or 1?

It's def strength of the solds: so it can only be 2 (no aggr) or 0 (with aggr). Not the off strenght of solds...
And since you can't be 100% sure if he used aggr (you don't know his losses, amount of hosps) I would not take that into account anyway...

I think Aggression has no impact on Ambush, but I may be wrong.

Ambush ignores all defensive mods, and Aggression is a defensive mod, so they would defend with their normal strength, 2 in the case of halfers.
