upoopu has my endorsement. Very good, very reliable. Only complaint I've heard is that it's not very mobile-friendly

I remember trying UpoOpu when it first came out, I wasn't impressed, but I'm sure it's better now!

In a word: reliability.
For the record, if you're going to use upoopu, I HIGHLY recommend you download the addon. Adding stuff to it can be downright annoying without it but with it the whole thing runs very, very well.

One of my kingdom mates got hacked because he used the same login for Pimp as for Uto.
Best option is to make your own site or ask one of your kingdom mates to do so

I don't understand why ST didn't use the exact same features of old pimp when he was given the site. Made no sense to rework it, it wasn't broken!

Could have been for similar reasons that the devs recoded Utopia. I have no idea what condition that the old Pimp code was in, but I think that I remember ST saying that it had to be overhauled to work with the new (game) code and it was easier on him to start from scratch.
Retired at one time but no longer retired.
Pretty sure it was sloppy code
