    Average Kingdom Size

I realize that the player base is tiny compared to when I started playing (around 2005), but I don't get why the average kingdom size has to be so tiny!!

When I first started, I remember being in a 7-8 million NW Kingdom, and I seem to think that was average. My third age I made 500K NW as a nub! Do you guys and gals think there's any way to bring the average kingdom/prov size back up without changing how easy it is to get land?

I suppose the only way would be to boost the player base back up huh?

I know! but even looking at last age, there were over a couple dozen kingdoms in the top 100 at 7-8 million NW. I just remember being able to get bigger in ghetto's without being completely farmed is all!

Could it be due to lower turnover? There were a lot more new accounts made and abandoned in the past. That constant influx of 400 acres would, no doubt, work its way up. Of course, that would mean that the total average was lower than what you are suggesting (long trailing tail on the distribution).

    The answer to your question:

Explore costs will increase more drastically the more you explore. (Starting this age)

Average kd size is still about the same. Bad ghettos don't count.

Less total acres in the game. Dice has been weakened a lot from times when it was 4-12, 5-15 for elves, and mystics had +1 mana. Explore cost was pretty much trippled reciently as well. And there is a lot less "middle class" in the server.
