fun KD setup

8 Human Shepherds
10 UD Merchants
3 elf mystic

Between humans and merchants you should be pumping out dragons. Besides that the UD can't get rioted.
I like merchants with UD since it's easier to get all leet army
Between a ruby dragon and the plague, that's -22% defense for them. Which is kind of like +28% offense for your shepherds.

Coming OOP both shep and merch have fast starts, which can't hurt.

btw I always been playing in a ~top 50 warring kd

I keep thinking about how nice the -30% build time must be. That would mean that your buildings from your first (war) attack can be built by the time you attack again, unlike other provinces. So if you build all TG that's like another 5% offense right there that others don't get.
If your build times are so much more reactive, you can be more aggressive in switching builds and staying in pump mode longer before going to war build. You can wait until a hostile wave...


anyways just kind of trying to get some feedback how would you attack this type of KD. Maybe a "weakness" is that you wouldn't even fund dragons with facing so many sheps...

8 shepherds? u still fund dragons and make them kill them. if they tank it because of 8 WHOLE SHEPHERDS, they are doing it wrong.

its not a terrible setup, and your post title is "fun" setup, so yea i can see the logic.

with that said, i can think of better setups for a top 50 warring kd :)

Though I don't think the setup is as good as many others, I do believe the purpose of the Human Shepherds is more for continuing chains on targets hit by their undead without getting plague on themselves. I imagine they are still killing dragons.. but maybe not. They would be fine sitting on a ruby dragon.
