Lets not let only the top 10 have all the fun. Figured I would throw one out there as well.


Earlier age around week 3, we got waved by Warlust. We were shortly out of a war and not ready for another war yet, so we Negotiated a CF that got them to get a partial land wave in, we negotiated 48 hour notice to cancel cf from either side. About 1 week later we served notice but didnt cancel.

So 3 days ago we cancelled our CF with Warlust, got a CE. They we showed they were taking some hits from Divinity, but had offered them a CF. At this point in time, they went straight into Fort. We got a pretty nice massacre wave in, hurt 1 fairy good, another fairy a little. Brought the meter up nice and unfriendly

We received some ops, and some MS they massacred an elf back.

No talk no response to any messages.

We then waited till the day change and fort was almost 50% effective, so we gave them the button. No response and didnt get pressed. We gave it for almost 2 hrs. Unfortunately and unbeknownst to us the Warlust monarch was sleeping. So button didnt get pressed.

We then continued to get ops. Still no acknowledgement about our quest for war. Which is all we actually really want. Just a good old fashioned war.

Because of full fort eff, and with our UD, we decided to Bounce wave a large Avian cleric with a suicide setup. It worked quite well, dropped him to half his elites and dspecs. They experimented in it as well, but bouncing humans hurt themselves more.

(to Bishop: please change this bounce strat let failed hits move the meter next age. I dont like it, but it doesnt mean I wont use it)

We jumped around and did it to another couple of attackers, but not with the effect of the first, as they kept on sending out. So we went back bouncing to the original fairy. So far we have almost 1/4ed his def from the original.

You want war by doing a wave yet you wont give the button? (giving it for 2 hours why a monarch sleeps doesn't count)

It's plain and simple really. You wave = you give button.

Make two more TM's and it's on...

If not send a CF and both move on.

We finally got some responses now. Oh also the dragons, we started one after we did our initial attacks, they started one about 12 hours later.

So finally some discussion is going on. There first offer is to run the meter to 200 and once capped they will war. Not really into that idea, we politely declined.

We countered offered with giving the button on the 23rd again. We are close enough in size, 500k difference and and both of us have provinces hurting, so lets just get this done.

Ahh smitty that is the thing. They are 2/3 this age. And we have never got a verbal that they will ever press us.

Because of this, we dont want to waste the rest of the age, not warring. So unless we get at least a verbal that they will press the button, we wont runt he meter up.

Although they do exit fort in a couple of hours, so we will see where that takes us.

So after many days of missing each other, we finally got a hold of each other. War is agreed upon, and Fort is gone, so now it makes sense to send a wave into them.

I love people who run no Hosp ;)

Wave is started, and they said they will press on the 7th to 8th. Cant wait, love to war.
