Unfortunately this reporter has only been able to obtain a very small amount of information on behalf of Mudkipz, I sincerely regret any missing information.
Dopefiends had waved Mudkipz earlier in the age, and from this both kingdoms had garnered a ceasefire. At this stage of the game though Dopefiends had been starved of war for a while and were ready to rethink that deal. Not wanting to waste time and resources that would not lead to war, Dopefiends monarch sent some private messages to the monarch of Mudkipz. According to Dopefiends these message were ignored which prompted the cancellation of the ceasefire, if only to get Mudkipz's attention. Mudkipz promptly messaged stating that they would not be warring Dopefiends no matter the situation.
It was at this time that Melee Weapons gave Dopefiends a 48 hour notice on the coming end of their kingdoms ceasefire. Dopefiends made the necessary changes to prepare for war. However around 36 hours after the notice was received Mudkipz started a Ruby Dragon towards Dopefiends. Upon noticing this fact Dopefiends responded by starting their own Ruby Dragon targeted at Mudkipz, and spying on their enemies.
After surveying this new intelligence Dopefiends spotted a province with a huge marauding army, affording that province an impressive 250k offensive points. This was of immediate concern as it meant Dopefiends Faeries were vulnerable. Dopefiends quickly marched a couple of armies to cause as much damage as possible while the army was still camped. They were successful in bringing the offensive power down to 210k, meaning that for now, Dopefiends Faeries could now breathe more easily.
Mudkipz loosed their Ruby Dragon into battle during hostile, but with Mudkipz favouring merchants, Dopefiends decided to leave it to its business. Mudkipz's armies began to roll over the almost endless wastes of the explore pool, a determined wave clashing with the defences of Dopefiends. Six long hours passed.
March 4 of YR6 We have declared WAR on THIS MEANS WAR Mudkipz!
Dopefiends came out swinging and targeted the province they had marched on during hostile, as well as two other provinces picked for the same reasons. They were quickly chained to around 600 acres. Dopefiends mages supported giving a constant blanket of Meteor Showers, Storms and Greed against the Undeads of Mudkipz. Finding these provinces to have rather poor mages, Dopefiends proceeded to Fireball en masse. This was followed by casts of Chastity to limit any regrowth and to try and cancel out the economic bonus of Mudkipz's merchants.
The final blow was struck by Mudkipz to the Ruby Dragon ravaging their lands and its head dropped and the beast fell silent. A soldier who was on the battlefield at the time claimed ?A great hero of Mudkipz rode up, his golden armour gleaming, he swung his coin pouch and would you believe it? You can still see the coin stuck in its skull..?
In response Dopefiends gathered their resources and launched a new dragon, the story of gold armour seeming to reach even them, as out of the dragon pits rose a Gold dragon, which quickly flew away to harass the peasants of Mudkipz reducing their BE's to around 55%. Dopefiends second wave also had them concentrating on high offence provinces.
After securing their Faeries, Dopefiends switched tactics and started doing waves against provinces with high peasant counts, overpopping them and limiting their abilities to draft. As Mudkipz were Undead Merchants Dopefiends wanted to limit as many economic advantages as possible over their own avian heavy set-up. Dopefiends started using their Faeries to Night strike soldiers massing in any province. Before this point they had been committing arson against the provinces targeted earlier in the war, burning Guard Stations to the ground.
After two and a half days of war Dopefiends decided they had done as much damage through chains as they could, and feeling they had a general advantage by this point, started to send attacks for maximum gains. The remaining war was a hard fought battle, with both sides sending multiple armies out per province. Over time the war started sliding more and more in Dopefiends favour, as they kept up tactics designed to keep Mudkipz low on peasants. Under such conditions the provinces of Mudkipz would have been slowed in their recovery.
On the last day of war Dopefiends reported noticing a decline in Mudkipz activity. With weakening armies...
July 21 of YR6 Mudkipz has withdrawn from war. Our people rejoice at our victory!
This victory means that Dopefiends war record stands proud at 3/3 and there is no question they will reach four, the question is when. Mudkipz themselves were stopped short of reaching the same amount instead having to settle for a record of 2/3, surely this will inspire them to fight all the harder in their next war and earn that third win this age.
