After pumping for five weeks in rainbow builds, the fourth monarch of a brand new kingdom, Unicorns of Death, decided they needed a break from razing inactives. The monarch, TLU, messaged the monarch of Killer Machines asking for war. Terms were arranged, and both sides agreed hostilities would start in 48 hours.
2 hours later, KM started their wave with a 1 acre TM. They also unloaded all of their stealth robbing food. As UoD wasn't ready for war yet, they decided to eat the 3 hits and start blanketing MS from fortified while training and switching builds. Unfortunately, the 6 faeries weren't enough to get MS on every province, with only one responding and claiming he had just spent all his mana on ToG. Hoping to keep the faeries in KM from also blanketing MS, TLU quickly mass messaged the kingdom, wrote a thread in the forums, and changed the monarch message to all say "Do Not Hit Killer Machines." Within 24 hours 3 hits were made into to KM giving them unfriendly relations.
A half health ruby dragon was accidentally sent by KM. Realizing their enemy's mistake, UoD quickly pounced on the opportunity and slayed the dragon in 18 hours. UoD then declared and sent their own ruby.
War orders for UoD were to attack active attackers, while KM focused on the avian with 500 dspecs from UoD, alternating TMs with massacres. KM decided to tank their dragon. When they noticed UoD had slain theirs, they started a new one which was funded by one inactive that logged in and didn't know what else to do with his huge pile of cash. UoD killed this one, with one small province killing it from 50% to 0. KM noticed the huge drop in networth, and immediately switched to massacre chaining it.
Neither side seemed to gain the upper hand. As soon as UoD seemed to get an advantage, their networth fell when TLU clicked "destroy abandoned province." However, once UoD took down KM's large avian from 1300 to 700 acres, KM knew it was over and threw in the towel.
