Aim is to come OOP with as high amount of acres as possible. Possibly keep it too (most of it). With a good enough defense that you're not hittable by an average OOP province.

What is a normal size nowadays and what race/perso would be the best?

Enough defense so that an average province wouldn't be able to hit me at all.
Average province: someone planning to have an offense OOP, but not explore much.

if you explore a lot, NW difference will keep you safe for a while, but eventually your screwed
