    How to get accurate Espionage?

    Hi,

    I'm a Tactician and wondering about the "Accurate Espionage (in war)".
    If i want to get an accurate SoM, how many thieves do I need to send? Or does it not matter?

    1 is all you need for accurate intel in war if you are a tactician.

    for som: 1
    for survey: 3
    for spy on throne: 7
    for spy on sciences: 4
    for infiltrate thieves guild: 2

    those are the optimal numbers for each op. luckily if u send 10 thieves or less u have no risk of losing any thieves, so u wont have to worry about that at all!

    hmm?? 1 is good for all intel for Tact in war. But yea, not that it matters, 1-10 is all the same.

    i use 10 for everything if i have accurate espionage. Cant hurt you

    how was it accurate for a tact to get SOM...

    the SOM took by tactician showing leftover def 50k...

    so does it mean i dont need SOT, and i just need SOM to know exactly his def when his army out??

    how much to break the 50k def, then?

    50000 *1.07 = 53500 .. but if ur tact then all intel is 100% accurate so its *1.04 needed .. i think :P

    If not Tact, get SoM with at least 20% thieves and you just need to send reported defense * 1.072(slight over-send) to get through.

    If tact, you just need to send shown defense * 1.042 (slight over send again) to succeed every time!

    I thought sending 20%+1 thieves gives 97% accuracy (+/- 3% error),

    Therefore you only need to oversend offense by 4% to overcome the error?

    It has worked for me all age last age.

    The game also has a 3.5% random factor on attacking. If you oversend by just 4% on 97% accurate intel, you're more likely to succeed than fail, but could still fail if you have bad luck. Oversending by 7.2% gives you guaranteed success.

    I am at war right now and personally all my active attackers are failing, including me going off the "accurate" intel from SoM. For example, I just failed this attack 15 minutes ago. Enemy has "Net Defensive Points at Home 42,712" times 1.042 equal 44,505 to break him. I sent 45,104 so that I am over what it needs. But I still failed. This is the 11th failed already going off "accurate" SoM from my tactician.

    Can someone enlighten me to why all my attackers are failing sending 4.2% more.

    But once i send 7% more, I never fail. So what is the point of "accurate" intel if I still have to send 7% to succeed?
